My yellow lab dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at age 3 months. I wonderful results once I switched her diet to raw food and mixed cooked food such as steam veggies – and boiled chicken breast.. but something seemed to be missing. Even though she was way better and had much more strength and less pain than when she was on kibble – it seemed her diet needed more.

I began to research and thankfully came across a blog of a man who has 40 years of yellow lab retrievers and German shepherds. He said in his blog he was 100% certain that Ester C (non acidic vitamin C supplement from a drugstore) was the cure! I tried this on my dog who is now 12. She is amazing on it. Has little pain and can now do stairs. Energy like she was 3 again. Sleeps great. No limping. No painful getting out of her bed. It truly is amazing and I would recommend this to all dog owners – they apparently need Vitamin C in non acidic form. I wish I had this information sooner in her life as it was breaking my heart seeing her in any pain. I hope you try this with your dog – oh btw – everything the Vet ever recommended only made her more sick and didnt help at all.
