Canine Hip Dysplasia and possible surgery options…?
Hi all,
My Lab is 5 years old and has hip dysplasia. Just tonight, he got up to go outside and cried out in pain. It broke my heart to see! He's currently being exercised moderately and is being given glucosamine and fish oil tablets to help slow the deterioration of his hips, but seeing him tonight, I know I'm going to have to do something more permanent for him.
I don't have a lot of money, but I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's had a surgical procedure done on their pet, the result and how much it cost you.
